NULaw is pleased to congratulate partner Lex Arbesman on being named to the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada™. Since its first publication in 1983, Best Lawyers has become widely regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence.

Best Lawyers has Recognized Legal Excellence for Over 40 Years

“For more than 40 years, the rigorous methodology of Best Lawyers has ensured the integrity and esteem of our legal recognitions,” said Best Lawyers CEO Phillip Greer. “It is with great pleasure that we continue to provide potential clients with the pinnacle measurement of credibility through our Best Lawyers awards as they search for counsel.”

Best Lawyers has earned the respect of the profession, the media, and the public as the most reliable, unbiased source of legal referrals. Its first international list was published in 2006, and since then, it has grown to provide lists in more than 75 countries.

Lawyers who are included in the Best Lawyers in Canada™ list are categorized by their geographic region and practice areas. They are reviewed by their peers based on professional expertise and undergo an authentication process to make sure they are in current practice and in good standing.

Lex Arbesman Named to the Best Lawyers in Canada List for Trusts and Estates

Lex Arbesman excelled in his legal studies and was awarded the Milton and Carole Ehrlich Prize in 2003. While in law school, Lex volunteered at the Halifax Family Law Legal Aid Clinic. During his articles, Lex provided immigration, landlord-tenant, and poverty law services to the midtown Toronto community.

Lex maintains a diverse practice, covering several areas with a focus on family law, estate litigation and estate administration. He ensures that his clients understand all of their options and provides comprehensive legal advice and guidance to allow them to make informed decisions based on the realities of their situation. Lex firmly believes that many legal decisions should be made after weighing the costs and benefits associated with the available information.

Lex has represented his clients in tribunals and has appeared before several levels of Courts, such as the landlord-tenant board, human rights tribunal, small claims court, Superior Court, Federal Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Congratulations to Lex for this honour!
